Technical Programme Manager

Technical Programme Manager | Dublin (Hybrid - Flexible) | Permanent

Hiring on behalf of a client seeking an experienced Technical Programme Manager to coordinate end-to-end delivery of large-scale infrastructure programmes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the full data centre delivery lifecycle from early design through to customer handover
• Coordinate cross-functional teams covering design, power delivery, permitting, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operational handover
• Support engineering teams with design-phase activities including electrical, mechanical, and power architecture
• Support power and utilities coordination including grid connections, build, and energisation
• Track permitting, regulatory approvals, and associated schedule risk across European jurisdictions
• Manage dependencies across multiple portfolios, projects, and workstreams
• Act as primary programme interface between internal teams, business stakeholders, and customers
• Provide clear and accurate programme reporting, risk management, and executive updates

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience delivering large-scale programmes / deployments
• Proven experience with a hyperscale cloud operator, colocation provider, or data centre vendor/contractor
• Strong understanding of the full data centre lifecycle — design, power, permitting, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover
• Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary technical programmes
• Experience working across multiple European countries and regulatory environments
• Proficient with project management software and planning tools
• Programme or project management certification — PMP, PRINCE2, MSP, or equivalent preferred
• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related discipline
